Released in 1988, this iconic piece of retro technology was a pioneer in early childhood computer literacy, famously running on a 4 MHz Zilog Z80 microprocessor. This set is an excellent find for vintage toy collectors and retro-computing enthusiasts, as it includes the original retail box, internal custom styrofoam protective end-caps, and an authentic 1993 VTech Smart Play product insert catalog. The main computer housing is in great shape with sharp graphics. Please note that the keyboard keys show significant cosmetic yellowing due to natural ABS plastic oxidation over the decades.Packaging: The box has some light edge wear and a small handwritten marking on the bottom right face (pictured), but remains structurally sound with vivid artwork.
