Thank you for looking.

This is a portable wooden specimen box. I am selling it to clear out space.
The box was purchased at an insect event and matches well with dark brown German-style boxes. It has a button closure and opens and closes smoothly due to its careful construction. I believe it is a rare item.
Why not upgrade from plastic containers for insect events with this stylish specimen box for taking your finds home?

Domestic butterfly specimens are included.
Japanese Swallowtail (wild-caught), 2 Miyama Crow Butterflies (captive-bred), all from Kanagawa Prefecture. Please check the photos carefully for species, condition, and details.
There are missing antennae and wing abrasions. Please forgive any errors in species identification.
Please also check the photos carefully for any scratches or dirt on the box.

*Please understand that I cannot be held responsible for any downgrades during shipping, such as detached or broken antennae, detached legs, or detached abdomens.
*Please examine the photos carefully. After purchase, no claims or returns will be accepted.
*Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such issues.
*Please note that we cannot ship internationally.

As it is Golden Week, shipping may take some time depending on the purchase date. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
