Vintage circa-1969 Cook Book Collectors Library edition of The New England Yankee Cook Book by Imogene Wolcott.  Originally published in 1939, this fascinating regional cookbook gathers hundreds of recipes, culinary traditions, and stories from all six New England states. Recipes include classic chowders, seafood, breads, puddings, cakes, preserves, game dishes, punches, and other traditional American fare.  The book has an especially handsome dark blue leather-look hardcover with ornate gold borders, decorative gilt designs, and gold lettering along the spine.
